Is there any keyboard shortcut to increase or decrease the number of decimals shown directly (I mean without having to use ctrl + 1... etc )
I'd appreciate any help with this.
Thanks a lot.

There's buttons on the toolbar.
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
Thanks, but it is rather tiresome having to reach for those two buttons everytime. ANy idea if there might be a keyboard shortcut?
No; Help for Keyboard Shortcuts lists them.
See here for some possible ideas.

Some of the comments, though have some better suited workarounds...
