Hey guys,
New to the forum and have been looking around for an answer to a problem I'm having (and finding lots of great solutions to other stuff ). Problem is I'm pretty new with Excel functions and am not sure what to search for, but I'm willing to bet you have an easy solution here...
So on to the issue at hand: I'm building a fairly simple spreadsheet that at this point just needs to collect the top five prices of (example) from each different "region column" and then put those into a "Best of" column. At the top of the best of column is a "Best of Best" with the top 5 overall. All goes perfectly fine using VLookup, Small, Index, and Match functions, until I have a repeat price which ends up in the top 5 anywhere. I need the name to match it's respective price, but say I have the following:
1.50 Ex. A
1.55 Ex. B
1.50 Ex. C
I need it to list in the BoB column as such:
1: 1.50 Ex. A
2: 1.50 Ex. C
3: 1.55 Ex. B
And instead with my current function usage I get:
1: 1.50 Ex. A
2. 1.50 Ex. A
3. 1.55 Ex. B
Obviously in such a list it will be common that multiple different examples have the same price, so whats the fix? See attachment for further details/exact function usage. Thanks a lot in advance!
