Pivot Table Error - Chinese Scripts...

Dear All,

I have a very strange problem in my excel pivot tables. I have a table and have made some pivot tables. Each table header is done in English; however, after I make a pivot table with the data things get wierd...here is the background:

I have data on R&D spending, the column headers are in english, and I want to make pivot tables...

1) I make a pivot table - everything goes fine
2) I save the file - everything goes fine
3) I close the file - everything goes fine
4) I re-open the file - I get an error (attached - Error #1)
5) I get a 2nd error (attached - Error #2)
6) My pivot tables are in Chinese (literally) (attached - Error #3)

Any help would be greatly appreciated...I have no idea where this comes from.
