Allow Blank entries in Drop Down list

Not to steal the thread but on similar topic, if you want the option for a blank entry in a list, my assumption was you leave a cell blank when you creat and name the list and when validating, you uncheck the 'Ignore Blank' box but I still don't seem to get the option for a blank entry in such a list?

Add a ' into the blank cell that's under the list array. It'll pick it up and add it as a list option

Nifty, thanks! Wish I had time to take a course in this stuff. So handy. The spreadsheet I am working on will cut my pre-flight time from 30-45 minutes down to maybe 10-15.
