    football league table

I am a complete excel newbie and this will probably annoy most of the very experienced excel users but any way i used to run a spreadsheet for a local soccer league,by entering the scores and then one by one manually changing the league positions every game, until i finally did a search for excel league table that updates itself, which i thought was brilliant, but for one bad reason i have 'nt a clue about making macros or using vba or formulas,i downloaded a template from exceltemplates.net which was great but if i try editing the team names the fixtures gets mixed up and the formulas wont work,so if some one could point me to where i could find a good tutorial on creating a table would be great.thanks

name of template from exceltemplates is called general football season with fixture creator.

Hi there, i'm also after an automated league table, where you can enter the results on one sheet, then on another sheet the table will be updated automaticaly. I didnt want to download any templates as I think it would be better in the long run to learn what im doing. Many thanks in advance
