    Automatic sorting?

    Hi guys,

I have an Excel sheet which i'm pasting into every week of about 500 rows of info. The last 2 entries in every row are time started and time finished. What i want to be able to do is to paste in the 500 rows (new 500 every time, no accumulation) and for excel to calculate the time difference for each row and possibly rearrange it automatically into largest to smallest time?

is this possible or is manually sorting the way to go?

This requires VBA code to be written. If possible upload a mock-up file so that I can write it for you.

You can PM the link of this thread once you have done that so that I can remember to check this thread back.

    Re: Automatic sorting?

    Hi thanks for the reply!

I'm not too great with VBA having never really used it. I've uploaded the sheet anyway if you want to take a look?

For each tab (Proposal, Proposal Rejected etc.) I need to paste in columns A to F and the formula in column G will calculate the days taken. This is the parameter i want to sort decending so the highest numbers will be left at the top.

I'll need to do this for every tab

Thanks for all the help, really appreaciate it!
