Colouring a range of cells if one cell equals "No"

I want to make cells a1:a10 go grey if cell a5 equals "no".

I know this is probably in conditional formatting but i can't seem to figure it out.

Select A1:A10 and go to Home tab... Conditional Formatting and select New Rule and then select Use a formula to determine which cells to format

    Enter formula: =$A$5="no"

Click Format to choose your colour scheme

I already have validation and formulas in the other cells in the table though.

Is there a way i can just copy the conditonal formatting only, nothing else?
