problem with list box properties....

Please see attached file...
I have a list box inserted and I want to tick the box in its properties that says "move and size with cells", but it is greyed out. I need to be able to do this, because I have a macro which presents the sheet in one scenario with the list box visible and in another with the list box hidden....

any ideas?

Hi,

It's greyed out on mine as well when selecting a listbox from Forms. Make sure that you're selecting a listbox from the Control Toolbar / ActiveX Controls

I wanted to avoid using the Active X one, because I've been having problems with those controls. I've been finding that with the active X list boxes and combo boxes, they keep firing off even when the user hasn't changed anything.... which slows the workbook down, as I have a number of subs that trigger off with the list box.

That is why i used the Form control. Is there no way of getting that option to be available? Otherwise, I'll have to try out the form control again maybe...
