dynamic link to external data

I have a monthly report that references data from daily reports. The daily data goes into columns on the monthly report. I'd like to be able to build one day in the monthly report and drag that column across the worksheet to create columns for all the days of the month.

Notice in the data link below that the daily data is found in the June folder in a file named 17.xls. This is data for June 17th.

Value of Cell A2: ='\\server\users\user\reports\june\[17.xls]Daily_Summary'!$D$10

I'd like to select the column that includes this link to external data and drag it to the right and see the [17.xls] change to [18.xls], [19.xls], [20.xls], etc

How do I do this?

BTW, the column header is 6/17/2009, so I was hoping I could use =text(A2,"dd") as part of the solution
