Conditional Formatting - based on formula - if one of 3 criteria are met then...

I am drawing a blank. I want to use conditional formatting in cell b2 that will outline the cell(I know how to do that) based on a formula. The formula I need would determine if cell a2 is 26,27, or 28.
Or function just returns true/false. I would rather not use 2 formulas.

    Formula would be:

    =OR($A$2=26,$A$2=27,$A$2=28)

If this still returns FALSE check that A2 is indeed a number and not text stored as a number... if it's text alter the above to 0+A2 or "26" etc...)

Thanks. I had actually tried that but typed the formula in the conditional formatting wrong (I had left off the =, so it returned: ="OR(A2=26,A2=27,A2=28)" )
When I saw your formula, I realised it - I knew it had to e a mental break. Thanks.
