Problem uploading file to thread

Hello

I am trying to upload a zip file as an attachment into a thread but it fails each time. The file, zipped up through WinZip is about 3.5mb, which is under the 9.77mb allowed.

Any ideas why my file won't load up and any suggestions as to other methods of uploading? Thanks.
