Conditional Formatting for texts, tables, etc

I have the attached excel spreadsheet. Cell A2 is a drop down menu, and depending on what is selected, B2 and C2 change.

In C2 I wanted to input brackets and comments next to the bracket (for example a bracket expanding from SM 303-1 to SM 306-1) and still change depending on what is selected in A2.

Using the insert tab, nothing is actually input into the cells, so my question is if this is possible.

    Thanks.

No idea what you're asking here.

Re: Conditional Formatting for texts, tables, etc

Basically, is there any way to show certain pictures in C2 depending on what is selected from the drop down in A2?

    Example:

When "1-2" is selected in cell A2, I want it to show an inserted picture in cell C2. When "1-3" is selected in cell A2, I want a different picture shown in cell C2. etc...

    Is this possible?

That would require a bit of vba for each and every picture. Post your query over in the programming forum and see what you get. You should post up a workbook with several of those pics in it, already so anyone attempting to help has something to work with.
