    Populating data on tertiary tabs

I am trying to set up the my customer spread sheet so that it will auto populate onto seconddary tabs in a certian cell has a spesific value.

Basicaly i want to be able have it populate Single cusomers on the Single tab and Married ones on another.
It will be a shared file with constantly updating data so it needs to populate on save. that is what is stumpin me. I can use an IF or a Vlookup but it doesnt factor the constantly changing information.

    any sugestions?

This is one of my stock macros, just edited for your "master list" name. Run it on demand, or insert the guts into a Worksheet_BeforeSave event.

BTW, you've stumped me on your title. I can't figure out how you mean "tertiary" in context with married/single status tabs. Do tell.

In my system it is a phase three tab. Sorry for the confusion.

The macro works well for exact copy. what is i want to vary the column location on the secondary tabs? like have addition fields for spouse name after first and last.

Better to just show me in an updated workbook sample, be sure to include before/after if it will make your need clearer.

Re: Populating data on tertiary tabs

It's designed to create a new report each time it's run. You DON'T want existing data removed?

You're terms are confusing to me. There's no scenario I would use in which a subordinate sheet (Single/Married) had MORE information than a sheet I had chosen to call "MASTER". The master sheet would always BE a "master" sheet.

You should rethink this. I think you're next going to say that some data on the MASTER should be populated into the subordinate sheets and update them anytime you make a change WITHOUT making changes to order in which the items are on the subordinate sheets or the added data. That's a crazy layout, I have to say.

I would rethink this process and make an actual MASTER sheet, then allow data to flow to the subordinate sheets as a simple reference.

In truth, I wouldn't use the subordinate sheets at all. I would put everything in the Master, then use an AUTOFILTER and filter by the marital status to see SINGLE/MARRIED as desired.
