Range Name + string as source for Data Validation dropBox

    Hi,
I have several cells with data validation's drop Box. Every data validation uses a range name as source (myColorList).
    Here goes the hard part:
I need a new value inside the dropBox list, but The problem is that I can NOT modify the "myColorList" range.

-- Is there any way to build up the dropbox source using the range name and the new value? Something like

    nope!
must be a string (like red, blue, green) OR reference to single row/column

I can NOT modify the "myColorList
    why?

    Hi MartinWilson,
Are you COMPLETELY sure about that? 100%? lol ;-)
It was my fear. But I though maybe using some sort of "=Concatenate()" or "=Indirect()" or some sort of obscure formula construction it could be made possible.

    Thanks for the help.

P.S. If I modify the range then I'll have to modify tons of formulas and VB procedures.
