Hi,
I'd like to be able to do the following in Excel, and would be super grateful if someone could help me.
I'm a teacher, and would like to have a list of my students go along the y axis. Along the x axis, I'd like to be able to write out the learning outcomes (the specific things they have to learn). When I print this out, it will automatically go to a next page once it's gone past a certain point on the x axis. The stuff I write out on the x axis will appear in vertical boxes so that I can fit more per page. Roughly something like this:
1 2
1 2
1 2
1 2
1 2
1 2
Jane
Tom
Billy
etc...
The 1 and 2 represent the specific learning outcome (since I can't write vertically on this post).
I realise that x and y axis are probably not the terms used within Excel but I don't know what those terms are.
Then, when I'm evaluating them, I just put checks or mark values for each specific outcome.
I can't stress how grateful I'd be if someone could write a simple step by step list of how to make this happen. Please assume that I have zero ability in Excel, as I've never been able to make the program work the way I'd like it to.
If there is a non–Excel way to do this, I'd be open to ideas as well.
Thank you so much!
