    Excel/vba book recommendation?

    Hi,
I have gotten really good at recording macros in excel using my knowledge of excel, complicated formulas, and keyboard shortcuts and a little (very little) bit of code editing (like changing a cell reference and copying and pasting previously used code). But since I don't know vba I'm forced to use extremely complicated work arounds for simple processes. These macros work just fine but are a pain to record and take longer to create than they probably should.

I want to learn about loops, dim, and variables and more vba vocab.

Is there a book out there that you could recommend for someone who already knows their way around macros but needs to go to the next step in vba?

    Thanks.

I always find John Walkenbach's books are easy to read and packed with information and sometimes come with a C D with loads of handy examples.
My book of choice would be "Excel 2003 Power Programming with VBA". Read more about it at Walkenbach's own pages here.
