Hi,
I would like to enter email addresses into a column without them automatically becoming a blue hyperlink!
How can I retain my original formatting (tahoma 11) no hyperlink upon entering an email address?

Tools-Autocorrect options..., 'Autoformat as you type' tab and uncheck the first option.
Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.
If you don't want Excel to create a hyperlnk then enter the email address with a single quote ( ' ) prepended in front of the address.
Note: if the cell already contained a hyperlink and you try to prepend the current entry with the ( ' ), the above will not work, you'll have to manually remove the hyperlink or copy the formatting of a blank cell to the target cell.
