    Creating Slides from Excel Data

    Hi,

    Need your help on the following.

    I have names of about 50 campaigns in col A in Excel.

    I need to make a presentation on each campaign in PPT. Is there any way I can create these 50 slides having campaign name as header of each slide?

    This should get you started in automating the creation of slides, based on data in column A.

    Thanks for the support. It worked fine for me.

    Just need a extention to my query..

    1) I want to use an existing template to transpose the campaigns in Col A
    2) I have data in col B as well. It will form a bullet point of Slide. How can I do that?
    3) I want to pre-lock the text setting (Eg: Times new roman text, 14 size and underline) before transposing the campaigns details in slides. How can i do that.

    1. Use open rather than add.

    2. just use the same approach to populate other textboxes. You can use the .Offset(0,1) of the rngCell object to pick information from column B

    3. you need to add slides based on your layout.

    Try using the macro recorder in powerpoint, assuming you do not have ppt2007.

    Hi, Thanks for your inputs.

    What I need is highlighted in the file attached. I need to have the budget and actuals info as shown in the pics attached in the excel.

    I need to automatically create these slides with all the info in the excel attached.

    Please help.
