I am looking to design a dashboard for charts that is dynamic and allows me to filter on specific groups with some form of dropdown list populated from my data within my datasheet. Can anyone recommend any basic tutorials or samples i could use to build upon?
Go at top row of your data and then Data -> Filter.

you could build dynamic and auto refreshable dashboards with Excel using http://www.exceldashboard.org
