How to increment / decrement rows / columns ?

consider that i type data in cell A1 of excel sheet1 .
all other cells of sheet1 are locked.

now what i want is, whatever i type in a1 of sheet1 should get saved in a column of sheet2.

    example:
    sheet 1 a1: 1 sheet2 a1:1
    sheet 1 a1: 2 sheet2 a2:2
    sheet 1 a1: 3 sheet2 a3:3
    sheet 1 a1: 4 sheet2 a4:4 note:i type only in a1 of sheet1. whatever i type should get saved in sheet2

Just to clarify, as you type in A1 on the first sheet, you want your entries to be added to the bottom of column A in the next empty cell? So the first time you type in A1, the answer goes to Sheet2!A1, then Sheet2!A2, Sheet2!A3, etc.

    Is this correct?
