flattening data from a pivot table based on total value

    Hi,

I have a pivot table created with 750 company names and the items numbers of the purchases these companies have made. The pivot table shows me the totals of all items purchased by each company.

What I am trying to do:

I would like a way to pull the top 25 customers based on the amount spent into another excel sheet.
I am trying to show the top 25 companies which spent the most, the item numbers of all of their purchases and the total amount spent.

I am using excel 2007. Is there an easy way to do this?

Layout of original PT not very clear but could you not just run a 2nd PT off the same data as the first filtered to show top 25 only with item number as a column label ? I've attached a demo... the demo has a little bit of VBA as the source is designed using random numbers so you can see how each time the data changes the PT's update accordingly (this is purely for demo purposes)
