Unhappy count the cell totals of groups

Does anyone know the formula or macro to count the cell totals of groups of connecting cells in a column and ignoring blank cells between these groups of cells.
If searched but can't find it anywhere so far.

Thank you and greetings from Mirtje

    Based on your example worksheet:

    in cell B24: =COUNT(B2:B4)
    in cell B25: =COUNT(B7:B8)

Continue the formula, adjusted for range of values to count.

    Hi Palmetto,

Thank you for your help, but it's not that simple.
The formula has got to go through the whole column and through only one celgroup.

    Hello DonkeyOte,

    Yes absolutely, that's it!
    Thank your very much.

If I want to let the macro automaticly go through a next column for instance column F how do that.

Can you please give me the code extension for that?

    Thanks again!
