Hi all,
I'm having an issue with an Index & Match formula.
I thought I had the formula correct, but it's showing #N/A in the result. I think there is a 'formatting' issue with my 'time' stamp.
Basically I want to match a time (in minutes) to a 'category' (ie: Breakfast or Morning).
It sounds simple, but I can't get it to work!!!
Example is attached, and as always, all help is greatly appreciated.

and re-enter the times in column A.

The predominant issue (other than awry references) is an interesting one ... even though the MATCH evaluates both A5 & F5 original times as being:
0.213888888888889
it still doesn't see them as being equal values... this might be one of those weird HEX type things I've seen shg explain before...
Running Text to Columns on A5:A14 does resolve the issue as outlined already by CXL but both numbers remain 0.213888888888889 as before - interesting.
