Double Click not working

So out of the blue - whenever I double click on the cell my cursor does not appear or allow me to edit the cell contents. Any ideas?

Do you have any Macros in your spreadsheet - specifically BeforeDoubleClick events ?
If so check for Cancel = True statements.

(presuming the cells aren't locked and you're not getting sheet protected warning)

I have some macros but they are all super simple stuff - more like hot keys than macros. I checked for protection issues and I don't see any of that. Double still works on other areas of the computer - truly weird.
