    Compare data in two colomns

    Hi All,

I am trying to compare data in two colomns, the data is registration numbers, my small set in AB and my longer list in CC. I need to see if registration number in CC can be found in the list AB. If it is there i just need it to say tru or false so I can then filter on the data.

    Thanks

Try =COUNTIF(C:C;A1) and pull down... If there is value greather then 0 you have it. If 0, you don't.

    Try in a new column:
CC1 = lookup value, so ok to click and drag as many rows are needed
AB1 - AB100 is a range where your lookup value compares against
0 is for an exact match
