    Custom Format - Negative Problem

I am trying to custom format a cell that has a =PMT() function to say "Text".

By going to Format Cell > Custom > and entering "Text" the cell displays -Test

I assume this is because the function returns a negative number, but I really just want it to have the label. I've had several lapses in literacy but nothing useful so far...

Any help would be much appreciated

    Hi,

Have you tried wrapping the =PMT() function in an ABS() function?

    e.g.

    =ABS(PMT(your_details))
