    Splitting First Name & Family Name Into Seperate Columns

    I have a column with first and family names in in the format

    John Doe

    How can I move them into separate columns ?

    If the names are truly that consistent... highlight the column and run Data -> Text to Columns -> Delimited -> check Space and press Finish

    (once complete re-run the process again but uncheck Space - this will not alter your data but will prevent odd paste issues going forward)
