Excel 2007 : Need Help Writing a Formula To Compare Ranges Containing Specific Values

Ok I keep home game poker stats on an excel spreadsheet. One part for money lost/won, one part for finishing position. people always ask me what there record is vs another person when they end up heads up. The way I usually do this is by seperating their 2 rows and scrolling along to see games where one guy got 1st the other 2nd or when they both got 1st(ie a tie). Then just add it up manually.


Is there anyone who knows how to write some excel equation so that I can just enter the 2 peoples ranges (their rows) and it will show their head sup record vs each other. (Only games where one gets 1st, the other 2nd or they tie both getting 1st.)
