    number of weeks not logged in for

    Hi,

    I have 2 columns...date registered and date last logged in.

    What my customer wants to see is the number of weeks these members have not logged in for. I thought this was simple.but after looking at it in more detail, i have noticed that it also depends on the date they registered relative to when they last logged in.

    For example if a member registered on the 10th January 2009 and last logged in on the 18th November 2009 which will be logged in within the last day. Whereas if a member registered on the 17th November 2009 and last logged in 18th November, this will also be only a day. But there is a big difference.

    I hope this makes sense. It has taken me a while to get my head around it and I have tried with no success.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Re: number of weeks not logged in for

    How about this?

    =TODAY()-B1+100*(A1/TODAY()-0,99)

    Where A1 is date user registered
    and B1 is last login

    This will give you decimal number. For example 8,232609 where first number (8) is number of days user didn't logged in, and from second number you can see how is longer registered (bigger number, user is newer).

    On today you'll get round number (8) +1 = 9 so you can also look upt to that number (when second part is =1)

    Re: number of weeks not logged in for

    Sorry, first one was for days, now is for weeks:

    analytics%20report%20ITG%20playing(1).xlsx

    First number is number of weeks 2081

    after decimal point is nothing spetial: only rating to clarify is this (for example) 9 weeks from user who is recetly activated or long time ago.

    As the number is closer to 1 then it's recently activated..
