    Conditional formatting gantt chart help needed

    Hi, I've created a gantt chart in Excel using conditional formatting. The chart covers tasks from Jan-Dec. Not sure why it won't show tasks in Dec. Formula is: =AND($C2<=F$1,$D2>=E$1) and applies to: =$E$2:$P$52. Can you take a look and help identify what I need to do? Thanks!

    Hi kelly,

    welcome to the forum.

    You don't have a date in Q1, which is what you compare the date in C with. If you put a January 2011 date in Q1, your conditional format will work fine. Or, you need to adjust the conditional formula for column P to

    =AND($C2<=date(2011,1,1),$D2>=P$1)

    hth
