    Poker Payout Calculator

I am currently using a poker payout calculator (attached) that I put together using my basic excel knowledge but I feel its way too clunky even though it seems to work fine.

What I would like is to condense it into just two columns but have it contain all the information already contained in my original effort (if possible)

I need it to be able to calculate how many places to pay out and the percentage of the total payout depending on the number of buy-ins (competitors).

For example if we had 6 people playing at £10 a head giving a total pot of £60 the cells for the first two places would show £45 and £15 calculated on a 75%/25% basis.

If there were 22 playing it would fill positions 1-4 on a 50/25/15/10% basis.

All the payout percentages per place can be taken from my original table for reference. I've used a simple formula to give the total pot based on buy-in amount x number of buy-ins but thats about the extent of my excel knowledge

Thanks for any help you can give

Not quite, I probably didn't explain myself very well. It seems to work but I don't want to enter any data into Table 2. Table 2 will be scrapped. Table 1 gets all the information it needs from the data in A2, A3, A4 once entered. I only included Table 2 as a reference for the pay out breakdown percentages for each position.

Would anyone else care to take a stab at this?
