personal.xls won't open

hi, for the second time i've encounterd the same problem

i can't get personal.xls to open when excel opens,

i have then file both in xlstart map in the path's
C:\Program\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART

and

C:\Documents and Settings\joho\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

where "joho" is my account.

i think my problem started when i added some addins

What do you mean by won't open. Personal.xls is an invisible workbook,is the code stored there available?

You should only have one copy of Personal.xls and really it should be in the XLSTART folder in your docs and settings directory.
Check under Help- About Microsoft Office Excel, click the Disabled Items... button and make sure it's not listed there.
