Pivot table created in Excel 2007 won't work in Excel 2003

I am using a microsoft excel 2007 at my work place and when i create a pivot table and save it, my work Colleagues cant use the pivot table. I have saved it as excel 97 - 2003 as they are using the 2003 version but still cant use the pivot table. they can open the file but just cant use the pivot table. i was wondering if someone could help me with this problem. thank you
