Cell A1 to display last cell data of another column

    Hi
i wanna thank everyone again for their support.
I tried to look up for formulas by myself, but this one I'm unable to find any info at all.

How can i make appear on A1 last data of B column
    for example
    B1 is 6, B2 is 10, B3 is 14, B4 is 1
    i want cell A1 to show 1
and when i add B5 is 20, to make A1 change to 20
so basically, whatever last cell of a column B will be added or modified, A1 will follow it.

    Thanks

    Try

    =Lookup(9.999999999e+307,B:B)
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Re: Cell A1 to display last cell data of another column

The formula uses the LOOKUP() function, which basically looks for the last number in the range that is smaller than or equal to the lookup value... in this case 9.999999e+307 is the largest number Excel recognizes and it is unlikely your range will contain that number... so Lookup takes the last number in the range that is less than that number.. which would be the last number in the range...
