Printing multiple pages on one Page

I have a list that I need to print. It is only 2 columns, but 12 pages long. I would like to print 4 or 6 pages, side by side on the same sheet. I tried changing the print setting to 4 pages per page. But, when I looked at the print preview, it showed only 1 page per page. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, it printed 4 on a page. . But, I lost the size of the font. It is alot smaller. is there a way to make it print side by side, with the page(and the writing) in portrait alignment?

How could it print four pages per page and not be smaller?

Re: Printing multiple pages on one Page

If I could print 8 rows wide on 1 page, it would stay the same size

    a1 a1 a1 a1
    a1 a1 a1 a1
    a1 a1 a1 a1
    a1 a1 a1 a1
    a1 a1 a1 a1
    a1 a1 a1 a1

    instead of
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1
    a1

    Thats what I need

Here is a workbook. I whittled it down to 4 pages that I would like to try to print 2 pages per page. Both sheets printed vertically on a page side by side, in portrait, not in landscape mode.

If you print multiple pages per page, the font is going to scale.

To do what you want, I expect to need to duplicate the data on another sheet arranged as you like, and then print in the normal fashion.

Well, that kind of sucks... as I have to print things like this all the time.
    Thanks for the help though.

Feel free to write a more clever program than Excel and share it.

I tried in the printer settings. Before printing go to Properties, Then choose "Finishing" You can select how many pages in a sheet viz., 1,2,4,6 etc.... It will work.

Re: Printing multiple pages on one Page

Hi. I have the same issue. I don't seem to have a finishing option in my printer settings. I did try an option for 2 pages per sheet, but it too printed very small leaving lots of white space (print preview didn't even display it that). It seems silly that I'm having trouble finding an answer to this problem as well. Maybe I need to use Word in a mail merge type thing...

For those looking for the answer to this question who came to this site like me or to Befuddled whose question wasn't really answered, here is the solution someone passed on to me. It's actually quite simple.

    Copy data

    Open Word

    Paste data

    Page Layout>Columns

    Print

    Hope it helps.
