    Graph (Excel 2007)

I am plotting three data/line in a single graph. they all use the x and y axis together.. Unfortunately, the two lines have small numbers like 2.5,3.1, 4--while the 3rd line has 400, 432, 498...These numbers are in the Y-axis..
My problem is, I want to cut the huge gap between the two lines and the 3rd line.. Of course, I don't want to have my two first lines to be compressed together so that I can present it well...
If there are other ways, please advice me too... Thanks in advance

    Re: Graph (Excel 2007)

    Hi hannahlance,

click the third chart series, then click Format in the Chart Tools and then Format Selection. In the dialog box that comes up, select Series Options on the left, and then tick Secondary Axis and OK

Now you will see another Y axis on the right hand side of the chart, which will have the scale for the third data series. Your first two data series will be scaled on the Y axis on the left.

hannahlance, please don't quote whole posts. It just clutters up the forum.
