Excel Formula Help Needed! (Picture inside)

Ok so my teacher gave me this homework and I think either I'm crazy or my teacher is... I attached the pdf picture to this thread. So if you look at # 7 where it starts talking about Creating Formulas to calculate the total cost of material in H9. Well don't I need numbers to work off of or something? I'm just so damn confused... Also when it starts getting back into it at #19. Also... The second picture, it doesnt even tell me how long the Columns should be... Please need major help!!! I might be just delusional and crazy...? haha

Re: I don't Understand part of this Sheet (Picture inside)

If you had information in A9:G9, what would you put in H9?
Do you need information in A9:G9 before you can write a formula in H9?

See part 10 for length in rows; the second one doesn't specify a length - so just put the formulae in the specified row and go outside and play.

    PS
We ask people here to name their threads with a good description of their problem - but I can't think of a useful alternative, and indeed I can't imagine this thread will be useful to anyone else, so making it searchable is pointless...

Alright so I changed the title.

Also, I need help on adding these formulas. Can you help me with the #9?

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

We don't do homework and I don't see that I should be put under any pressure because you don't do your studies and assignments on time.

I think we do quite a bit of homework here, generally I see that clever people disguise their homework as business problems, and get solutions, others describe their homework as homework and get hints.

If you revise your title (although as I mentioned, I don't know to what) I will give you hints on question 9 - it is quite easy if you think about the preceding questions.
