    % Increase and decrease.

    Sometime ago I was given an answer to my question on how to update a price list I have been working on.
    The answer I was given was as follows;
    Type 102% or 1.02 into cell A1, or whatever % increase you require, then copy that cell. Select A2:A500 the price range, and right click and choose paste special then multiply then ok.

    This is all great and it works fine for me. But how do I drop the price % if needed??
    I have been playing with this for ages trying to drop my prices 10% but can't get it to work.
    Any Help guys would be great.

    Use the same method as described above.

    Then use some logic and some maths.

    If something costs $100 and you want to reduce the price by 10%, then you multiply $100 by 0.9 to arrive at $90. Makes sense?

    So, with the trickery described above, just use 0.9 as the value to multiply your prices with.
