    Bar Graph issue

Hi, need your help again . . .

I run this pool league (Federated 9-Ball Like on TV).

You guys helped me a lot putting it together but I now need more help.

I wish to insert some kind of chart on each player's sheet so they can see through a graph if they improve or are falling behind.

This data would be based on percentages calculated every week but also would like another entry in the graph which would show the group's average (not counting the no-shows (so it wont affect the average)).

So basically, what would be nice would be a vertical table with the bar graph be horizontal, with a set of bar per week showing the percentage of the player.

I included my work so far ( Office 2007)

    Thanks in advance.

    Mike.

    Re: Smooth line plot

    Had a quick look

Seems fairly straightforward to do. One question I would ask is that I'm assuming that the chart for each player would show underneath the tables of each player on the players tab?

Let me know and I can do a quick example and send to you

Any questions, drop me a PM

Staberinde, we appreciate you coming on here and jumping in to help right away. One note I'd make, however, is that questions here are supposed to all be dealt with in the forum so it is searchable for others who might have the same issue. PMing is not meant to solve OP's issues. See rule #4. Thanks.

    Re: Smooth line plot

Hi, yes the chart would be located to the right of the players sheet.

I will compress the data to the left making room on the right.

Meanwhile, I`ve been playing with chart tools, getting there slowly ( I think ).

If you encounter a protected sheet . . . Moose is the password.

The graph so far will not display a week which the player was absent, it would be nice if the was an empty column where the player was not there.

Also, can`t I enter text manually beside the axis

    Re: Smooth line plot

    Well, I am stuck . . .

Here is what I got so far . . .

On the `Test `sheet you`ll see the chart I tried to make.

The actual range required on that particular sheet would be

    PHP Code:
    ='Graph Data'!$B$3:$AF$
but cannot get it to work, I have to start at C3 to AF3 weird !!!!!!

On the vertical Axis, could I not enter anything I wanted , say the date of the week the data relates from . . .

    Re: Bar Graph issue

    Here, I believe I got it, still need help . . .

I uploaded my work for reference.

in the Test worksheet, lies the table.

My problem is that I cannot get it to read and display the entire range of data required.

    It has to display form `Graph Data` B3 to AF3 ( ='Graph Data'!$B$3:$AF$3 )

and when I enter those parameters, I get no data displayed. But when I use C3 to AF3, I get the data displayed as in the included work.

Please help ! I`ve searched everywhere and tried everything except making sweet l___ to it .

    Mike.
