Excel 2003 got compile error in hidden module: Utils 1

    Hi everyone,

We are using Excel 2003 and a 3rd party software that interfaces with Excel and both of them worked perfectly before. However, after I upgraded the 3rd party software due to some security concern, anytime when it calls Excel, there is an error: compile error in hidden module: Uitls 1 and then both of them are frozen.

Couldn't figure out why. I have uninstalled/reinstalled both but nothing helped. I also lower the macro security to the lowest but still see the error.

    Please help!!!

    Thanks,
    Ning

Have you contacted the 3rd party company? In Excel there is no module called "Utils 1", so my guess is this is something they will have to fix.

Yes, but they couldn't find anything wrong at this point.

If I tried to save the worksheet, I got another error: The macro ".....xls'!RWDeactivateSheet' cannot be found.

    Thanks,
    Ning
