Pivot Table Layout Issue moving from XL03 to XL07

folks, I am unable to recreate the same pivot table layout in XL07 that I was able to create in XL03. the root of it seems to be related to the disappearance of XL03's autoformat function (report AND table templates) in favor of XL07's pivot table style sheets.

I have attached a test-layout.xlsx (yes an XL07 workbook). the file was originally created in XL03 and pivoted in XL03 (pivot table on the left). then I opened the file in XL07 and pivoted the same data (pivot table on the right). It doesn't appear that XL07 has comparable autoformat reports / tables that XL03 has. instead XL07 has PivotTable Styles under the Design tab - looks like an endless supply of canned styles along with an ability to customize but i have been, so far, unsuccessful at removing the "Data" header that sits in the row immediately above the Sum of Qtr1, Qtr2 ... column headers with any sort of style change

my workaround to this is to keep an XL03 formatted pivot table handy that I can copy and repoint to the correct source data as required but this seems somewhat inelegant. there has to be something I'm simply missing.

I would be very grateful for any additional suggestions.
