Excel 2003 Menu Hotkey Stopped Working

I have been using Excel 2003 for a long time with no issues. Now, all of a sudden, when I hit Ctrl-S to save a document I get this error:

Run-time error '438':

Object doesn't support this property or method.

Why would I start getting that suddenly and how can I fix it?

has ctrl+s been accidently or otherwise to a macro?
check tools/macro/macros and have a look at the options for any macros stored in the work book

That was it! Somehow one of my much-used spreadsheets had a Macro2 which had Ctrl-S assigned to it. I don't know how that happened, but I've been known to have clumsy fingers from time to time. Thanks for the fast solution!
