    Iteration

Using Excel 97 with a 86 row by 70 Col iterative spreadsheet I have a curious problem.

I can cause errors in the speadsheet by a input in a location on the same Worksheet but well away and certainly not called by the speadsheet itself.

Observing a 'test-variable' that can be manually confirmed, this happens to any spare location I have picked so far, sometimes deleting the input results in the 'test-variable' returning to its correct value but not always. I have seen this effect on a variety of columns.

The only clue I have are the iteration aspects. With Iteration set to 100 it nearly always occurs. As I increase iteration up to about 1200 it often does not occur, but does sometimes

    Any ideas please?

    Re: Iteration

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

    Smile Re: Iteration

Thanks for that. How will it be if I include the actual worksheet?
