Move Object based on Selected Cell?

I posted this in another thread, not realizing it was breaking a rule (http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ose-dates.html)

    Sorry about that.

So I have a pop-up calendar that pops up when you select any cell in a column in my worksheet. The problem is I want this Calendar to pop up in a relative location to the selected cell. (Such as the cell left of the selected. Currently I am using locked panes to just have the Calendar always at the top, however this is not what I actually want.

I have searched all over the internet reading tutorials for VBA but I cannot find anything like this. I would love to learn VBA from the start but I already work 2 jobs and have 3 daughters so it could be ages before I find time.

Any help would be appreciated (Or even links to relative teaching material so I can learn)

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

My recommendation is to look into Chip' s excellent site ...

I looked at that site earlier, but looked at it again with your link.

The data there is far more advanced than I can understand, since I know hardly any VBA at all..or any other programming (besides HTML/CSS) so it is very difficult to see how to do what I want from this page.

Thank for effort, I will continue reading the website.

Re: Move Object based on Selected Cell?

I got it working finally using the above suggestion (took me lots of trial and error since I have NO clue what I am doing)

Just have to figure out how to move the box now..

    Thanks again.
