Changing cell's color when formula meets certain conditions

    Hi guys!

I was wondering if there was a way to make it so my cell's background changed color when the formula in it met certain conditions...

Example: I want cell A1 to becomre gray when cell A30 has "absent" written in it.

How would I go about doing that?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I didn't know you could do that considering I'm fairly new with Excel.

Thank you very much, your help is very appreciated!
