Excel 2007 : Averaging multiple columns row by row

So here is my problem

I have 7 columns each with about 400 data points, what I need to do is average each row across the 7 columns for each of the 400 data points and doing this row by row is painfully slow and mind numbing, what I need in the end is one column with data points that are the average of the 7 columns data points so I was hoping someone would help me out thanks a million
