    perform:IF statement

    Hi everyone

    this is my first participation, i need help in writing IF statment for the attached file as per the condition mentioned.

    Generally a good idea to put the expected results into your sample so people can validate their logic.

    Perhaps you mean:

    B4:
    =IF(B$1=A$1;"";(B$3-HLOOKUP(A$1;$A$1:B$3;3;0))/HLOOKUP(A$1;$A$1:B$2;2;0)%)
    copied to P4

    Thanks DonkeyOte , I got the following solution from my colleague:-

    =IF(F1>E1, -(F2-HLOOKUP(E1,$1:$2,2,0))/HLOOKUP(E1,$1:$2,2,0),"")

    please tray it and advice if there is another easy solution.
