Perhaps custom format as:
0.00;0.00C\R;-;@
this also replace 0's with a dash....
Where there is a will there are many ways.

You could perhaps use a Custom Format ? eg:
#,##0.00"DR";#,##0.00"CR";0.00;@
My Recommended Reading:
Volatility
Sumproduct & Arrays
Pivot Intro
Email from XL - VBA & Outlook VBA
Function Dictionary & Function Translations
Dynamic Named Ranges
Maybe should've been
0.00;0.00"CR";-;@
this also replace 0's with a dash....
