Summing Every 7th Cell in a Column

    Hi,

Quick question: I am trying to find a formula that will allow me to calculate every 7th cell in column A (Cells A1:A70). The value should be shown in cell B1.

For example, every cell in Colums A:A has a value. How do I calculate the value in cell B1, using a formula that I can drag and drop down, for cells A7 + A14 + A21 +......+ A63 + A70

This is a simple example that once I have the formula will help me on a much larger datasheet.

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Not sure about your drag and drop requirement, but the formula that would SUM A7, A14, A21...etc is:

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(MOD(ROW($A$1:$A$70), 7) = 0), $A$1:$A$70)
