    NPV vs Manual NPV

    Gentlemen,

    I am trying to calculate a discounted cashflow. However when I calculate via 2 different methods I get 2 different results though similar. Why is this can someone explain?

    Your manual formula is wrong. Should be: =D10/((1+$C$5)^D6)

    Thanks. But what is the difference between taking the time between 2 januaries and dividing by 365 and taking directly the time difference?

    Don't really know. Wasn't able to follow what you did originally, so I just did what was right.
